Ever since her trip to Greece, Hotaru, a girl in her twilight years, has had a string of bad luck. One day, a young man claiming to be a customs official appears at her doorstep. According to him, Hotaru's bad luck is due to the fact that she was possessed by an ayakashi (a ghost) while on vacation... Hotaru thinks this is impossible, but since then, she too has been able to see the Cerberus puppy that haunts her, as well as other ayakashi! This led to Hotaru's reemployment in a certain department of the customs office. What a surprise, it is a department specializing in dealing with ayakashi coming from overseas!
